In this webinar, Sandie Mourão takes a look at a number of picturebooks published by Macmillan Children’s Books, first with the intention of defining what a picturebook is and then with a view to discussing how a picturebook brings pictures and words together to create meaning. Sandie Mourão then looks at the different ways we can use picturebooks with students of all ages and highlight their potential for developing listening, speaking, reading, writing and thinking skills as well as positive attitudes towards language learning, literature and the world around us.
